Partner & Chair of Business and Commercial Litigation

Craig A. Hansen

Craig Hansen joins Omnus Law as Partner and Chair of the firm's national litigation practice, bringing more than twenty-five years of experience leading high-stakes, high-complexity disputes across the business, real estate, trust and estate, and intellectual property landscape. He is recognized for his ability to navigate cases that are not only legally and factually intricate, but also emotionally charged, politically sensitive, and organizationally dynamic.

Craig's practice focuses on complex business and commercial disputes, intercorporate and partnership conflicts, and trust and estate matters involving allegations of undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty, financial misconduct, and contested control. He has represented court-appointed fiduciaries, families, trustees, beneficiaries, founders, CEOs, and closely held companies in matters where the legal strategy is inseparable from the human elements at play.

For more than two decades, Craig has built a reputation as a litigator who leads with empathy, diplomacy, and clarity, while possessing the fortitude and trial skill to successfully take any matter through verdict when necessary. Clients and colleagues alike rely on his rare ability to synthesize complex facts, diffuse escalating conflict, and craft litigation narratives that are both legally sound and emotionally intelligent.

Craig's broad and diverse body of work uniquely positions him to helm Omnus Law's growing litigation practice. His background spans:

  • Complex Business & Real Estate Litigation – founder disputes, corporate governance, partnership breakups, real estate fraud, commercial contract litigation, and derivative actions.
  • Trust & Estate Litigation – contested trust administrations, probate matters and conservatorships, undue influence claims, elder financial abuse, fiduciary misconduct, and multi-party family litigation.
  • Intellectual Property Litigation – patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, licensing, and brand protection disputes.

Craig has been a trusted voice in the legal community, presenting to attorneys, judges, professional fiduciaries, and industry leaders on effective litigation strategy, fiduciary risk, and the intersection of law and human dynamics. He has spoken nationally and internationally, including serving as a Keynote Speaker at the PFAC Northern Region Education Day, as well as presenting at the World Law Congress in the Dominican Republic, where he addressed global practitioners on alternative business structures and the future of dispute resolution.

Known for his composure, strategic clarity, and ability to bring order to chaos, Craig approaches each matter with the belief that great litigation is not just about winning cases — it is about protecting people, restoring balance, and guiding clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. At Omnus Law, he leads the firm's efforts to elevate litigation excellence nationwide, mentor emerging talent, and build a practice that reflects the highest standards of advocacy, professionalism, and humanity.
